Shipping & Returns

We take our mail order service seriously. We ship promptly and pack things well.

For US orders, we ship all LPs media mail unless requested otherwise (and that service will cost you). 7"s go out First Class, unless it is over weight limit, than they go out media mail. Sometimes media mail is surprisingly quick. Sometimes it can take up to a month. Usually it takes about a week, depending on how close you are to California.

International orders up to 4 lb are shipped First Class International. Orders over 4 lb go out First Class Priority. Usually packages sent outside the US will get to their destination in about 3 weeks. Sometimes it is quicker, sometimes it is not. A lazy customs official, a postal strike, and so many other things can delay delivery. All of that is out of my control. On shipment of expensive records or a large order we might require that you pay for registered or express mail. It depends on if you are a regular customer and where in the world you live.

When you check out, ignore the stated weight. The shipping fee you are charged is correct! Also know that the max calculation is for about 10 LPs. If you order more than that we might contact you for more cash!

All LPs are shipped in specially designed boxes, made with bumpers at the edges to keep corners from being bent or bumped. Larger orders are shipped in larger boxes, with much padding and sometimes even double boxed. We ship nearly weekday and sometimes on the weekend. There might be a slight delay in mailing International packages of over 4 lb, as we have to wait in the post office line.

Insurance, damaged & lost packages: All orders of more than $50 are automatically insured. If you want insurance for an order under $50, click on additional shipping category and add whatever to your order. If something is damaged in transit, contact us. If it is insured we will go through the return/insurance process. If not insured chances are you are out of luck.

We only except returns if we sent the wrong item or if there is a manufactured defect in a new record. We will not accept a return if you don't like the music. Also grading on used records is subjective, so what you see or hear and what we see or hear might not be exactly the same. That said, we take grading seriously and try to grade conservatively. It is often that we will call something VG+ when others would call it M-. Because of this, we do not accept returns on grading disputes. If you have a question about any used item and its condition, we are happy to answer any questions regarding any item.
