First record from a new label is a very worthwhile release of great Kiwi punk so I picked up a few. Here is what the label says: "Two killer tracks that until now were only available on the elusive and excellent AK-79 compilation, a document of the late '70s Auckland punk scene, released on Ripper Records in 1980. Featuring members of the Suburban Reptiles, "A Certain Sound" and
"Baby" capture a moment when the New Zealand punk scene was transitioning from the taut, snotty UK-inspired sound into what became the Propeller Records and Flying Nun style -- more melodic, more moody. Two perfect pop songs with enough bite to feed the jaded punk in all of us. Limited to 300 copies, red vinyl." (Descabezados en Acapulco)
